According to the CSA Pension for Deceased Husband Application (27 Mar 1931), Stephen and Mary had been married since 1880. If that is true, then the couple married when Mary was 9 years old. Since the children from her first marriage were born in 1897, 1899, and 1905, she couldn't have been available to marry Stephen Sink until at least 1905.
Stephen served in the CSA under Capt F.L. Hale, Co. D, 29th VA Inf. Rgt, enlisted in Carroll Co., VA.
