Excerpt from "The Meek Family of Washington County, Virginia" by Danny Morris Fluhart containing reminiscences' by Ausker Friel Stone of his life. The link to the excerpt can be found at the bottom of this page in the docs section. It is well worth the read. The first several pages are genealogy info for Martha Susan Meek (Ausker's wife) with Ausker's recollections beginning on page 327 (page numbers at bottom of page). Poems included at the end begin at the bottom opf page 342.
