N1MM UDC File
|
[27Oct2021 UPDATE Apparently N1MM has been changed such that the broken file now works. The problem was a variable being written as "Callsign" rather than "CallSign". (Note "s" vs "S") I guess N1MM is now insensitive to case. :)] Unfortunately there's a version of the QRPFoxHunt.udc running around that works just fine except for the Cabrillo file it exports. The Cabrillo file generated is missing the call of the station worked. The good news is that the file can be replaced with the fixed version of the udc file without disturbing your logs created with the previous version of the file. And Cabrillo exports of logs created with the broken udc file will then be correct. How do I know if I have the broken version of the udc file?
The simplest way is to create a Cabrillo file from one of your fox hunts. Open the file with a text editor & look at a 'QSO:' line to see if the other guy's call is present somewhere in the line. If not, then you need the newer version of the udc file found below.

Copy the file to the '\N1MM Logger+\UserDefinedContests' folder on your computer. The full path on my computer is'C:\Users\Fritz\Documents\N1MM Logger+\UserDefinedContests' Your path will most likely will be the same except your computer's user name will replace 'Fritz'. Once the file is in place, with a text editor, on line 37 you will see "DefaultContestExchange = WY DALE 5W". Put your info there & save. N1MM Call History File
